We are pleased we are now currently in the Amber Readiness Level, which means face to face activities can resume outdoors and indoors with an approved Risk Assessment.

Cub Scouts meet once a week in their Packs, depending on the activity for that evening.  We sometimes go out to Haughley Park, Combs Wood, or around the local area especially when the evenings are lighter.

While we usually only run during school term time, we do occasionally meet on some nights during the School holidays.  We do trips occasionally on other days. There will be camping weekends, activity days etc; and pack holidays every couple of years or so.

This year the Cubs have been working towards their Personal Challenge, World Challenge, Level 2 First Aid, Scientist, Backwoods Cooking, Hobbies.

(Some activities will require an additional cost – you will be informed in advance)

The evening usually consists of:

– ‘Grand Howl’ and ‘Flag Break’

– Inspection

– Game

– The evening’s main activity which is normally linked to Badge work

– Drink

– Another game

– Grand Howl, Flag Down and notices.
