Beaver Scouts are the youngest section of the Scouting family, for 6-8 year olds. They meet weekly to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities. The next section for Beavers to move on to is Cub Scouts
They will also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so it’s a real adventure for them.
A group of Beaver Scouts is called a Colony, and each Colony can be split up into smaller groups called Lodges.
Here at 1st Combs we have two Beaver colonies, these run on a Tuesday and Wednesday night.
